Letter -- Hurt/Comfort 2023

First of all, thank you so much for writing for me. Below are some general thoughts on tags and pairings. I haven't suggested prompts for most of them since many of the tags are prompts in and of themselves. I definitely enjoy putting characters through the ringer but I also want them to be okay in the end so I'd love to see lots of comfort following the hurt and prefer endings to be happy or at least hopeful.
Likes: Fluff, mystery, adventure, casefic, hurt/comfort, found families, strong female characters, f/f, affection, girls with swords, friends-to-lovers, missing scenes, post-canon, scars, injury recovery
DNW: Permanent injury, explicit sex (mentions and fade to black are okay), non-con, dubcon, incest, animal harm/death (hunting is fine as long as not graphic and fighting any kind of monster is fine too--just please don't kill pets or animal companions or the like), main character death, graphic violence/gore, torture, self-harm, mundane AUs, character-bashing, kidfic, unrequested genderswap
General Comments on tags:
* Who's hurt: For all my requested pairings it's fine to have either or both be hurt.
* Scars: scar-related tags, I like the idea of characters having their stories carved onto their bodies. Sometimes it's stuff that they're proud of--a scar they got saving someone--or that they're ashamed of--a scar they got when they failed to save someone or because of something that was done to them against their will. I love seeing how different characters react to those stories, how they feel about them.
* Injuries: I have a soft spot for stories where characters are injured and have to tend to each other and for stories where characters have to do so in survival situations (lost in the wilderness, trapped in a cave-in, behind enemy lines, etc,). I love the inherent drama of half of a pairing being afraid of losing the other, whether they're in a relationship or still in the pining stage, or they haven't realized until that moment how much that person means to them. I also love it when they're put in situations where they have to depend on each other for survival; all of the characters I requested are fighters so injuries can bring out this mix of being tough/stoic, while also being vulnerable and needing help, which is a dynamic I also enjoy.
* Specific Injuries: I'm not picky about injury types, though I'd prefer the injuries to be non-permanent-- so temporary blindness rather than losing an eye, no amputations, etc.. They can be serious injuries that will take time to heal, that will leave scars, that will have aftereffects, but they won't prevent characters from going back onto the battlefield eventually. So losing some fingers would be fine but not losing an arm since my requests (apart from Arcane) are all fantasy settings that don't have prosthetics.

I'd really love to see their courtship fleshed out since we missed out on all of that. But if you've got an idea for something set during or after the season 4 finale that's fine too. I just love that they're both these really tough warrior-ladies but who are really soft with each other.

Flynn/Isabeau (SMTIV)
The thing that always sticks with me about this pairing is that last bit of the game when you're on the neutral route and it's just the two of them left. Flynn has the whole world on his shoulders and an uncertain future and they're wandering around the ruins of Tokyo together fighting demons. There was something so evocative of about that--the sense of isolation and obligation and companionship in the midst of all that. And meanwhile you can still take the time to wander into that abandoned bookstore and give Isabeau the chance to read that missing volume of that manga, which was so cute and really moving; they're in this world that's been destroyed and may be annihilated but they still find something to enjoy in it and they're still fighting to save it all.

Tana/Syrene, Seth/Eirika
I love pairings that involve a member of royalty and their retainer or bodyguard. I always loved Seth/Eirika and Tana/Syrene is the same flavour of ship: retainer who's known the princess a long time and probably helped train her to fight, thrown together during the war. I'd love to see anything with them either before, during, or after the war. Loyalty, protectiveness, training or fighting together, managing friendship or romance when they're of different stations--these are all aspects of their dynamics I find really interesting.
Fire Emblem: Engage
Alear/Ivy
I have to say I was really amused by their B support, but then you get her backstory in the A support about how the Divine Dragon became her strength in the "den of snakes" that was the royal court. I'd love to see more of the process of her coming to see Alear as a person not just as the deity she's been imaging all this time. And there are also some dramatic highlights in the game like Alear dying and coming back twice in a single chapter which must have been really a torment for her friends --that doesn't get explored in the game and is definitely something I'd like to see fleshed out. And then there's the bit where we get to see past!Alear and what she was like then; surely she has some feelings about that.
So there's lots going on there to explore and I'd really like to see them helping and caring for each other in some way.

FE3H-specific requests: CF is my favourite route so if you're not partial to it could you please be vague about route or go with an AU version where everybody lives.
Edelgard/Female!Byleth
I love seeing these two have to rely on each other-- before, during, or after the war. They're both very independent and not used to having to lean on others so I do enjoy scenarios where they're forced to do that.

Enemies to lovers isn't usually my jam, but somehow this pairing was the exception for me. I really love how even when their nations are at war Laegjarn feels that she and Fjorm would otherwise have been friends. And I'm really tickled that the summoned versions of them do indeed canonically become friends. I'd love to see more of how this works, whether it's a scenario where they have to fight again due to summon contracts or where they're fighting side by side and have to rely each other.

Caitlyn/Vi
I enjoyed the series but man it's just one gut bunch after another so I'd really like to see some actual comfort for Caitlyn and Vi. I'd love to see a story where they're working together in some capacity and have to take care of each other. I loved seeing how quickly they bonded in the show and what a good team they were. Even in a short space of time they learned from each other and grew from their experiences and that was lovely to see.
But seriously they both need a hug. Maybe a lot of hugs.
