ToT letter
Hello, ToT writer. First of all, thank you for writing for me. Below are some ramblings about characters and pairings I like and a few questions and ideas, but feel free to ignore prompts and chase your own plot bunnies. I hope you have fun!
Likes: Fluff, mystery, adventure, casefic, hurt/comfort, found families, strong female characters, f/f, affection, girls with swords, friends-to-lovers, missing scenes, post-canon, unconventional fanworks that fit the canon setting (letters, journals, case reports, newspapers, choose your own adventure-style fics, etc.)
DNW: Explicit sex (mentions and fade to black are okay), non-con, dubcon, incest, animal harm/death, main character death, graphic violence/gore, torture, self-harm, mundane AUs, character-bashing, kidfic

A House of Many Doors
Canon-typical violence is okay for this one. While the game does deal with a lot of gory events, it does so in such an understated way that it's not distressing to read so I'm okay with a similar style of violence/horror/weirdness.
I love the bizarre world they created for this game: the strange locales; the fact that so many people in the House have come from other worlds, some of them like ours, and some very different; the mix of human and non-humans trapped there. I'd love to see any of the game's locations and lore show up. There so much weirdness and it's all fantastic.
Harmony Ricketts
Harmony's story was my favourite of all the ones I've seen. It was weirdly fascinating to see her transform herself. And I have a soft spot for this story because the captain gets to rescue during her final procedure. How do the other crew members react to Harmony's transformation? Does she ever properly thank the captain for all her help? What else does she want to see or do in the House? How does she even sleep with all those spikes in her back? Tell me any sort of story about her and feel free to toss in any of the other characters.
Any Crew
I do find the non-humans crewmembers and cultures particularly interesting so these would be fun to explore further. Mostly I'd like to see just about anything set in this word because it's so strange and interesting and evocative. So feel free to add in whatever characters you want and explore whichever corner of The House interests you. My only request would be that if the kinetopod captain shows up I'd prefer a female or gender-neutral captain.
Sunless Sea
Canon-typical violence is okay for this one, though please do keep it understated the way it is in the game.
I love the weird, creepy world of Fallen London and the Underzee. The otherworldliness combined with the familiar elements of Victorian Britain is just delightful. I'm open to any sort of adventures in this world, whether creepy or mundane: fighting Zee beasts, or lounging around in the mess hall, or a mishap during a stay at port—or anything else! Appearances by any characters are welcome, though I would prefer a female or gender-neutral captain if they appear.
Tireless Mechanic
The Tireless Mechanic was one of my favourite crewmembers--the brilliant but eccentric engineer trope is fun. I was also fascinated by the idea of his not sleeping. What does he do during all those extra hours? Does he envy the people who do sleep?
Any Crew
I'm open to any and all crew though so go ahead and use whatever mix of characters suits you. I'm mostly just excited to see more of the weird world of Fallen London and the Unterzee.
Sunless Skies
Canon-typical violence is okay for this one, though please do keep it understated the way it is in the game.
I love the weird, creepy world of Fallen London and this later version of it in this bizzare sky/space world they move to after their time belowground. The otherworldliness combined with the familiar elements of Victorian Britain is just delightful. I'm open to any sort of adventures in this world, whether creepy or mundane: fighting sky beasts, or lounging around in the mess hall, or a mishap during a stay at port—or anything else! Appearances by any characters are welcome, though I would prefer a female or gender-neutral captain if they appear.
The Felined Eccentric
The Felined Eccentric was one of my favourite crew stories in the game. I love the "Encounter with the Eccentric" scene, how they work quietly and companionably together. And I also find the scene with Paimon really funny, how he separates them when she sits next to the captain. I'd love to see anything about her travels on the locomotive–a day-in-life, a strange adventure, a problem with cats, or even something about that period spent in Piranesi when they were in the process of becoming the Felined Eccentric. I'd love to know more about her feelings about what's she's become, about the remnants of her past following her in feline form, or about how she feels about the captain and crew since it sounds like it's her first time having companions.
Any Crew
I'm open to any and all crew though so go ahead and use whatever mix of characters suits you. I'm mostly just excited to see more of the weird world of Sunless Skies.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
General prompts/comments
FE3H DNW: Male Byleth. Edelgard being dead. If you're not into CF route, please be vague about route or go with an AU where everyone survives.
If you want to go the creepy route there's lots of potential involving the slithers, the tunnels beneath Garreg Mach, demonic beasts, the weird ritual they use to assume someone's identity like they do with Tomas, Monica, etc. Oh and of course there's the fact that the relics and crests are pieces of dead dragons, which is just so weirdly gruesome when you first learn about it—Byleth's been running around the whole game with Sothis's bones in her hand. I'd love to see any of that stuff explored with any of my requested characters.
Dorothea/Petra
Obviously this one has to take place in the second half of the game or post-game since Petra is still so young in part 1. I love how strong and hardworking Petra is and while her verbal missteps are often used for comedic relief I really admire her for persisting in a second language. Dorothea meanwhile is so lovely and kind but she's really down on herself a lot of the time. She seems so convinced that her appearance and voice are the only things anyone really sees in her and she's determined to get married before those things fade. So there's this surprisingly sad undercurrent to several of supports despite how cheerful and uplifting she is so many others. Does Petra pick up on any of that? What does she think of Dorothea? When does she realize she cares for Dorothea as more than a friend? Does the language barrier get in their way? How does Dorothea adjust to her new life in Brigid? Of course feel free to ignore any of these questions if you have another idea. I'll be excited to read whatever you want to explore with these two.
Edelgard/Female!Byleth
CF route is my favourite route. I love Edelgard's determination to make the world a better place and the moral greyness surrounding the decisions she makes and the ones she's forced to make due to the silthers. I love that her story is complex and tragic, but that it can also lead to hope in CF route where Byleth and Edelgard team up to reclaim Fodlan for humanity, and in doing so reclaim their own. Byleth's story arc of her slowly becoming more human becomes especially interesting with the loss of her crest and gaining a heartbeat. I'm also I'm fascinated by the double life Edelgard has to lead during the Garreg Mach phase of the game. On the one hand she's working with her imperial allies to prepare plans to topple the Church and working with the slithers and on the other she's getting to know Byleth and the Black Eagles. It must be incredibly difficult when she knows she's deceiving them and they may or may not stick with her when they find out. But really I'm open to anything during part 1, part 2, post canon, something whatif-ish, as long as both are alive and well.
Edelgard
Edelgard is my favourite character in the game. I love her determination to make the world a better place and the moral greyness surrounding the decisions she makes and the ones she's forced to make due to the silthers. I love that her story is complex and tragic, but that it can also lead to hope and the reclaiming of humanity generally and her own humanity more particularly in CF route (whereas she loses her humanity in the other routes, especially in AM, where literally becomes a monster). The fact that all the leaders in this game are flawed and problematic is one of the things that I've really enjoyed about it.
I'm also I'm fascinated by the double life Edelgard has to lead during the Garreg Mach phase of the game. On the one hand she's working with her imperial allies to prepare plans to topple the Church and working with the slithers, while also getting to know Byleth and the Black Eagles, which must be incredibly difficult when she knows she's deceiving them and they may or may not stick with her when they find out.
Really anything that explores her character would be great. Pre-canon could be interesting with her struggling to come to terms with having to work with the people who killed her siblings and trying to walk the line between accomplishing her own goals while also being under Thales's thumb. In all that Hubert would have been her only ally and that must have been incredibly isolating. And the same could be said of Part1 of the game.
Post-canon is fun too. I'm interested to see her enacting her reforms to get rid of the crest systems while also dealing with Arundel's machinations. Or if you want to explore a non-canon golden route where all three lords survive and Edelgard is trying to make those reforms without having destroyed the Church I'd be interested in that too.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
General prompts/comments
FEW3H DNW: Azure Gleam, Male Byleth, Jeralt and Byleth being dead
If you want to go the creepy route there's lots of potential involving the slithers, the tunnels beneath Garreg Mach, demonic beasts, the weird ritual they use to assume someone's identity like they do with Tomas, Monica, etc, the relics (everyone's running around with dragon bone weapons :/ ), the whole chapter in Zaharas, and Shez's creepy powers too. Would love to see any of that explored with any of my requested characters.
Claude & Hilda or Claude/Hilda
I've always liked the dynamic between these two whether it be platonic or romantic, especially in that last support of theirs in Three Houses where they admit that they can both see through each other's facade. In Three Hopes I really enjoyed that Hilda took on the role of his right hand/confidante more than in the original game. She's the one who sticks by him the whole way (as opposed to all the other Deer who can be recruited). I'd like to see more of them working together and depending on each other. Claude is really bad at trusting and relying on others so I'd love to see him lean on Hilda (figuratively or literally) whether it be in a political or military crisis, on the battlefield, or in a more peaceful post-game setting. GW or SB route is fine, whichever works best for you.
Dorothea/Petra
Petra is still pretty young in Three Hopes so it's fine for this to be more pre-relationship or set post-canon. I've always liked these two. (I have comments on them in my Three Houses section if you want more details.)
I think one of the interesting differences between this version of them and the original is that Petra is already the queen of Brigid, even though it hasn't been announced publicly. A lot of her supports have to do with her talking about her duty to Brigid as its queen. I wonder if Dorothea would find that at all intimidating? In the original game Petra is still a princess and Dorothea is very chill about that, but would knowing that, as soon as the war ends, Petra will return to Brigid and take the throne make a difference? Would it affect how they interact and how they develop feelings for each other? Would that not happen until later maybe? When Petra was visiting Fodlan or Dorothea was visit Brigid? I'm also up for any sort of bonding during the war too though. Mostly I just want to see them spending more time together and getting closer.
Claude & Edelgard
It was a treat to get to see these two get to work together. I found it really interesting how Claude's route reveals how cut-throat Claude can really be. The fight at Ailell left me furious but I was glad the rest of the Deer were upset too and called him out on it. I enjoyed seeing him learn to trust his friends more and be more open with them. And again I thought it was interesting that he felt it was necessary to kill Rhea whereas Edelgard would have been satisfied with deposing her. The compare and contrast between their very determined (and oftentimes problematic) leadership and decisions is really fascinating. They both have such similar goals and want to change Fodlan's political structure for the better but neither one of them trusts the other. I'd love to see them have to work side by side in some capacity whether it be a political capacity or on the battlefield just to see how this mix of distrust and convergent political goals and values can play out.
Edelgard
Edelgard's determination to make the world a better place and the moral greyness surrounding the decisions she makes and the ones she's forced to make due to the silthers is something I really love about her character. In Three Hopes it's really interesting to see what she's able to do when she isn't controlled by Thales. It must have been such a relief to her that she didn't have to go through with the whole Flame Emperor charade. She still bears the responsibility of starting a war and knows she's willing to sacrifice others (like Monica as she tells her in their supports) but she was able to take on the Church on her own terms without being complicit in the slithers' experiments. I'd love to see how any of this plays out for her during the academy phase, the pre-war period, or during the main game. Does she worry still about what Thales is up to? Do they have encounters with some of Thales's underlings? Does Thales still have spies in Enbarr or at Garreg Mach? How did her experience in Zaharas affect her?
Edelgard/Female!Byleth
The dynamic between these two is quite different in Three Hopes so I'd love to see more of how they get to know each other once Byleth gets recruited. Maybe a moment during a battle, or Byleth's reaction to seeing Edelgard disappear along with Shez and the others and then being returned, or just the first time they have tea together. I love that there's a discussion in Hubert's supports to Edelgard's being drawn to Byleth because of their shared crest so anything to do with Edelgard's crest is interesting too.
Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
If you're thinking of going for "trick" I remember a lot of the monsters in this game were pretty creepy--zombies, giant spiders, floating eyeballs. And then there's the whole Orson/Monica thing. Feel free to toss that in there or any of the other weird supernatural stuff from the game.
Seth, Erika, Tana
I like all three of these characters so feel free to use any of them in combination with any other characters from TSS (except maybe Valter--he creeps me out a little too much). I do really ship Seth/Eirika though so I'd appreciate if they weren't shipped with anyone else. I love Seth's dedication to protecting Eirika, and how Eirika and Tana both grow from sheltered princesses into seasoned fighters. I'd be happy to see anything set in-game, whether it be fighting creepy critters, or sitting around the campfire after battle. Or something set after the game where they're trying to rebuild their homes and lives after the war.
SMTIV: Apocalypse
Flynn, Isabeau
One of the things I found fascinating/distressing about the game was the way this alternate version of the story sort of hijacks Flynn's neutral ending from the original game. Basically instead of him getting to be the hero, he gets kidnapped and turned into a passive victim (and ultimately an enemy) until the very last phase of the game. His story gets hijacked and derailed by Nanashi. The whole thing must have been really difficult for Flynn to bear once he woke up and realized what had happened.
Meanwhile, Isabeau had to deal with her closest friend–and the only connection she still has to her home–being taken captive. We don't see her as much as I'd like in the game, but when we do it's obvious that she's really worried about Flynn. And then that whole thing with the fake Flynn. I always wonder if she blamed herself for not realizing he was a fake.
So yeah go ahead and write something that takes places during the game or after the neutral ending. I ship them but even if it's just camaraderie or friendship, I just want to see more of Isabeau and/or Flynn and get more insight on how the story looked from their perspective.
